Norfolk-based Engage Health Systems Approved for New NHS Procurement Framework

Engage Health Systems has announced that its Engage Consult online and video consultation system and new online and video care referral service, Engage CRS, has been approved for the NHS England Digital First, Online Consultation and Video Consultation (DFOCVC) Framework.

DFOCVC is a purchasing framework under the Digital Care Services (DCS) Catalogue and is expected to go live for procurement activity on Monday, 26 April 2021. Initially, for English CCG and Primary Care Organisations, the longer-term intention is that the DFOCVC Framework becomes a route to procurement for wider health care settings, including secondary care, community pharmacy and others.

“Compared to previous frameworks, DFOCVC represents a higher level of requirements, and by successfully demonstrating our capabilities and achieving compliance with the more rigorous NHS Standards, it’s a terrific vote of confidence in both our vision, our technology and our strength and stability as a company to be one of the very first to achieve DFOCVC approval,” said Engage Health Managing Director, Michael Wong. “Since we launched back in 2017, Engage Health has always strived to be at the cutting edge of robust, safe yet innovative digital-first primary care. Both Engage Consult and Engage CRS are fully integrated online and video consultation systems that feature best-in-class integrations with leading clinical systems, EMIS Web, TPP SystmOne and Cegedim (Vision).”

“Currently able to accept a patient’s NHS login credentials, Engage Consult is also available via the NHS App. Both Engage Consult and Engage CRS have state-of-the-art collaboration working tools, alongside the capability of sending outbound messages to individuals or patient cohorts for the better management of long-term conditions and the simplification of QOF data gathering.”

He added, “We’re confident that we offer the widest range of proven functionality at the most competitive price in the market today, and we look forward to welcoming many more GP Surgeries to join the hundreds of Practices we currently support across the country.”
