Congratulations to the WINNERS of the Health Tech Digital Awards 2025!

We would like to say thank you to all the applicants who entered the Health Tech Digital Awards this year and a big CONGRATULATIONS to the winners!

We received a large amount of applications this year and some difficult decisions have had to be made due to the technology and impact of the solutions being quite remarkable. Please see the winners and their overviews below:

Fife Council has transformed its Care at Home service using Totalmobile’s CareLink solution, a powerful digital platform for scheduling, mobile care delivery, and real-time workforce management. Since implementation, the service has increased weekly care hours by 1,713, delivered over 3 million visits and achieved millions in annual savings. CareLink has enabled safer staffing, improved continuity of care, and enhanced the patient experience. With live scheduling, mobile access, and ongoing innovation, including a new service user portal, CareLink is helping Fife deliver care of the future: smarter, more responsive, and more personalised community care at scale.

  • Best Rehabilitation Technology Solution: Cloudfy – RideLabs: Digital Rehabilitation Seating Solution by Cloudfy

RideLabs, developed by Cloudfy for Ride Designs, is a breakthrough digital rehabilitation solution that transforms how custom wheelchair seating is delivered. Using an iPad app with 3D scanning, clinicians can assess patients and submit orders quickly and accurately all in one place. Integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SharePoint, the platform streamlines workflows, reduces delays, and improves outcomes. Already used in hospitals, rehab centres, and rural clinics, RideLabs helps patients receive seating systems that support comfort, health, and independence faster than ever before. It’s smart, scalable, and reshaping the future of personalised rehabilitation care.

  • Best Healthcare Technology Solution of the Year: PocDoc – The Healthy Heart Check

PocDoc’s NHS approved Healthy Heart Check uses proprietary smartphone technology to deliver a full cholesterol profile, BMI score, heart age, and a ten-year heart attack or stroke risk assessment — all in under 10 minutes. Results are delivered in real time and, through our partnership with Patients Know Best, are seamlessly integrated into a patient’s record. Patients can share results with GPs and view them in the NHS app – the first service of its kind to offer this level of integration. Tests can be done at home, at work, or in community settings.

  • Best use of Artificial Intelligence: HiLabs Inc – MCheck ContractsAI

To showcase a first of its kind technology developed by the nursing and midwifery team with the support of industry to revolutionise the care of pre-term babies with jaundice. This project champions co-design across industry and the NHS from initial conception to solution go-live and forms a blueprint for innovation adoption in the NHS, to effectively enhance patient safety and optimise clinical pathways through digital innovation. Jaundice affects up to 4 out of 5 babies, with the standard of care requiring continuously charted bilirubin levels to identify treatment needs, a process widely performed manually, using paper-based charts. This health technology revolutionises the care of babies suffering from infant jaundice through digital innovation.

  • Best Communication Solution: Think Healthcare (Focus Group)

Our innovative communication solution, featuring the Virtual Care Navigator and Think Healthcare advanced NHS Cloud Telephony, revolutionises patient access and practice efficiency. By enabling 24/7 access to essential services via phone, reducing queue times, and addressing access inequalities, our solution enhances patient satisfaction and operational efficiency. Key results from this case study include 92% patient access satisfaction, the ability to move 3.5FTE call handlers into clinical roles proving additional appointments, and efficient call management on busy days. Think Healthcare allows organisations to tailor the main method of NHS/patient interaction to the needs of patients across all settings and areas.

  • Digital Transformation Project of the Year: More Days Limited

More Days Studio is transforming how UK care homes plan, deliver and evaluate resident activities. In place of paper planners and time-consuming admin, Studio provides an AI-powered platform offering intelligent suggestions, editable activity cards and built-in engagement tracking. Coordinators save hours each week while delivering more consistent, personalised activities. Managers gain insight into delivery and outcomes. Already in use across a growing network of homes, Studio is a practical and impactful example of digital transformation—built not just to support care, but to reimagine how we design joyful, meaningful days in later life.

  • Best Mental Health Technology Solution: Tellmi

Tellmi is an evidence-based and scalable digital mental health solution accessible via native (IOS/Android) and Web apps that offers easily accessible early support for anyone aged 11+. It provides an anonymous, pre-moderated, and age-banded peer support platform, preemptive counsellor interventions for high-risk users, text-based Tellmi Therapy using a Solution-Focused approach for those needing more help, and a Directory of over 700 resources and services. Over 6,000 users have contributed to Tellmi’s development, and almost 100,000 people have used Tellmi since launch in 2017.

  • Best Elderly Care Technology Solution: Cera Care

Cera is transforming elderly care through AI and technology, building a sustainable model that shifts healthcare from hospital to home, analogue to digital, and sickness to prevention. Cera’s proprietary AI tools predict >80% of falls and hospitalisations 7 days early, empowering its workforce of almost 10,000 carers and nurses to take preventative action which cuts hospitalisations by up to 70%. With Europe’s largest home healthcare dataset and over 78 million home visits delivered to date, Cera is improving patient lifespan, healthspan and quality of life while easing NHS pressures. Cera’s model saves the NHS and Government £1 million daily.

  • Best Solution to manage Chronic Disease: Medify Health

and 24/7 virtual coaching, it brings advanced chronic care management directly into patients’ homes—no apps, portals, or setup required. Designed for inclusivity and impact, Medify’s model transforms digital care into personal, preventive support for senior patients, who need it most.

  • Best Healthcare Management Solution: GP Profit Recovery – Enhanced Technology

GP Profit Recovery provides vital financial support to GP practices across England and Wales, recovering over £563,428.94 in hidden income in the past year. Our commission-only model ensures accessibility for all practices, regardless of budget constraints. By conducting a thorough historical reconciliation process, we uncover missed reimbursement opportunities with minimal input required from practices.   • Best Innovation project of the year: Rethink Partners – Pioneering Regional Collaboration for Digital Care Transformation (WM5G)

Rethink Partners led the culture change and workforce transformation for the WM5G Adult Social Care Programme, embedding care technology across Birmingham City Council, Coventry City Council and City of Wolverhampton Council. Through creation of Digital Care Navigators, personalised coaching, collaboration with Alcove, Care City and 4OC, and a bold focus on communications and sustainable outcomes, we empowered staff, reassured families, and improved independence for hundreds of residents. This people-first digital care model has reduced hospital admissions, improved wellbeing, and set a new national standard for regional collaboration and innovation in adult social care.

  • Best Remote Monitoring Solution: bitsensing – bitsensing’s AI Wellness Radar solution
