Psyomics launches beseen™ for neurodiversity in collaboration with Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust

Psyomics has launched beseen™ for neurodiversity, a new digital tool that supports NHS services struggling to meet the demand of neurodevelopmental referrals and backlogs.

Developed in collaboration with Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) and informed by engagement with more than 15 NHS providers, the platform has been tailored to meet the needs of specialists working in this area, helping NHS triage with service user reports, supporting a more productive workforce and offer a more streamlined service user experience.

Specifically designed for people with autism, ADHD, and those requiring Dual assessments,  beseen™ for neurodiversity streamlines services by reducing manual data collection and providing real-time insights into waiting lists. It supports ongoing validation to identify out-of-area referrals or people already assessed elsewhere, improving efficiency and transparency, while helping clinicians focus more time on patient care.

Created alongside MPFT’s clinical team, the platform integrates seamlessly with existing NHS systems, giving clinicians the right information at the right time whilst reducing administrative burden. Early modelling suggests a potential reduction of up to 30% in clinical time by eliminating repetitive low-value activities, which are often a significant source of frustration for service providers.

From first contact, beseen™ for neurodiversity builds a comprehensive view of each person, helping services provide the right clinical input at the right time. It supports clinical pathways throughout the service user journey from start to finish.

Key features include:

●        Waiting list validation to track out-of-area referrals and those no longer requiring the service

●        Personal reflection logged on progress to date whilst waiting and encouragement to goal set ahead of assessment

●        Bespoke pre-assessment data collection tailored to each service

●        beseen is one unified platform, seamlessly supporting diverse use cases across every front door, service, and stage of the service user journey.

Jennie Collier, Managing Director of MPFT’s Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Care Group said: “We’re very pleased to have worked in partnership with Psyomics to develop a platform which will help to ease referral pressures across our Adult ADHD and Autism Service in South Staffordshire. We look forward to realising the many benefits that beseen™ for neurodiversity will bring for our service users and staff. Ultimately, it will assist us in delivering a streamlined referral process to manage demand, reduce administrative pressures, and deliver a more joined-up experience.”

Covering ADHD, autism (ASD), and dual assessments for both adults and young people, the platform is designed to scale across entire Trusts, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), and regional networks.

Dr Melinda Rees, Chief Executive at Psyomics, said:
We’ve been working closely with NHS Trusts across the country to understand the intense pressure on neurodevelopmental services. Midlands Partnership University NHS FT are a top ranked Mental Health Trust in England dedicated to putting the patient at the heart of what they do, empowering their staff to improve care and wellbeing, and they deliver this through expert partnerships to drive better care, faster.

“beseen™ for neurodiversity is built with them to provide exactly that. With their large coverage, they needed a tool that could provide consistency whilst also offering bespoke features on a service by service level ensuring they stay true to their values, and this is what we have built with them.

“The technology ensures biopsychosocial information is captured seamlessly wherever a person enters the pathway and carried with them throughout their journey. Crucially, it can scale across Integrated Care Boards and regions, helping services grow and adapt to rising national demand.”
