AI platform for clinical trials returns to public auction with 85% discount

Comprising healthcare management software, it is being auctioned for the third time with a combined starting price of €510,000, representing an 85% discount on the minimum starting price at the December auction, which was €3.5 million.

The platform was developed by Science4tech, a Spanish scale-up that is in bankruptcy liquidation and offered technology-based services to accelerate clinical trial results.

The specialist portal Escrapalia has put up for public online auction a comprehensive platform that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to optimise and accelerate all key clinical trial processes, from centre selection to patient retention. This is particularly relevant in the oncology sector.

The healthcare management software was originally developed by the spanish start-up Science4tech, currently in bankruptcy liquidation. A scale-up that offered services based on SaaS technology and apps to accelerate clinical trial results.

Starting price: €500,000

The platform is up for auction at a starting price of €510,000, which represents an 85% discount on the minimum starting price of the December auction, which was €3.5 million.

It includes programmes that can also be bid on individually through four lots.

-Firstly, an AI-based search engine (Nextrial) to find the best centres and recruiters worldwide, with a starting price of €85,000.

-Secondly, an AI app (Matchtrial) that connects cancer patients with trials, performing real-time screening, with bids starting at €250,000.

-The Captrial module, AI software that eliminates data entry costs, generates real-time feasibility studies and exploits RWE for the use and analysis of large amounts of data for decision-making, is up for auction at €65,000.

Until 5 February

The auction will remain open until Thursday, 5 February. Any individual, company or investor can participate after registering for free on the platform. As a commitment of genuine interest, a security deposit must be made, which will enable the participant to bid on any lot in the event. This amount will be refunded, except to the highest bidder, as part of the sale price.
