3. Membership Term, Payment & Renewal
3.1 Memberships are valid for the agreed period (e.g. 6 months).
3.2 Payment is due according to the agreed schedule (e.g. monthly instalments).
3.3 If any instalment is late by more than 30 days, HealthTechDigital reserves the right to suspend publication of content, withhold article credit use, and pursue payment.
3.4 Memberships do not automatically renew unless explicitly agreed in writing.
3.5 No member has a right to use article credits or advertising services beyond the membership period unless otherwise specified.
4. Use of Article Credits & Submission Rules
4.1 Article credits may be redeemed by submitting content for review within the membership period or within an agreed grace period (if offered).
4.2 Submissions must comply with HealthTechDigital’s policies (see Section 7).
4.3 HealthTechDigital reserves the right to refuse, modify, or delay publication of any submission that does not meet our standards, without liability.
4.4 Where a submission is refused or requires changes, the credit is still considered used (unless otherwise agreed).
4.5 Unused article credits do not automatically entitle the member to a refund, unless explicitly agreed.
5. Overdue Payments & Remedies
5.1 If the outstanding balance is not cleared within 30 days of its due date, HealthTechDigital may:
a) Suspend access to pending publications, article credit redemption, or advertising placements.
b) Terminate the membership agreement.
c) Seek recovery through collection or legal action, at the member’s cost.
5.2 Once payment is cleared, HealthTechDigital may (at its discretion) permit the member to redeem remaining article credits or placements that would otherwise have expired.
5.3 No services (e.g. article publishing) will be provided until overdue payments are settled in full.
6. Advertising / Placement Terms
6.1 All advertising submissions are subject to review for compliance with applicable laws, industry standards, and HealthTechDigital’s policies.
6.2 HealthTechDigital may reject or remove any advertisement that it deems misleading, false, defamatory, infringing, or contrary to its standards.
6.3 Acceptance of an advertisement does not imply endorsement of its content.
6.4 Advertisers are solely responsible for accuracy of claims, intellectual property rights, and legal compliance (e.g. medical claims, data protection).
6.5 Advertising materials must be delivered by the deadline specified. Delays caused by the advertiser may result in adjusted schedules or reduced exposure.
7. Content & Submission Policy
7.1 All submissions must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and HealthTechDigital’s content standards.
7.2 Submissions must not:
a) Contain defamation, hate speech, obscene or illegal content.
b) Violate intellectual property rights of third parties.
c) Be false, misleading, or unsubstantiated (especially for health/medical claims).
d) Violate privacy, data protection, or confidentiality rights.
7.3 HealthTechDigital may require revisions before publication. If revisions are not provided in a timely manner, publication may be declined or delayed.
7.4 HealthTechDigital holds the right to remove or retract published content if subsequent concerns arise.
7.5 All articles published under banners such as “Sponsored Member Content” (or similar labelling) are subject to the same review process and policies as other submissions, and are published solely at the discretion of HealthTechDigital.
8. Refunds & Disputes
8.1 Refunds are discretionary and handled on a case-by-case basis.
8.2 A member requesting a refund must provide a reason in writing.
8.3 Disputes over content or credit usage must be raised promptly (within 30 days).
8.4 HealthTechDigital’s decision on disputes or content enforcement is final, subject to any contractual or legal rights the member may have.
9. Changes to Policy
9.1 HealthTechDigital may revise this Membership & Advertising Policy at any time.
9.2 Revised terms will become effective upon publication.
9.3 Revised terms apply to both future and ongoing membership agreements, unless otherwise stated.
9.4 These terms and any subsequent updates apply to all membership packages, including those purchased prior to the date of publication, as they govern how services are delivered and how content is managed on HealthTechDigital.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This policy is governed by English law and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales (unless otherwise agreed).
