September 2025: Pocketalk, the global leader of real-time translation solutions, is excited to announce a new partnership with Syndico, one of Europe’s largest and most established distribution and reseller companies, and Pocketalk’s first-ever, authorised UK distributor.

Pocketalk is on a mission to innovate translation technology in the UK, empowering organisations and individuals to communicate safely, quickly, seamlessly and confidently across languages.

With recent Government announcements highlighting the need for more language translation innovations, including AI-powered tech solutions, for key industries including healthcare, Pocketalk turned to Syndico to support its rapidly growing demand after recognising the need for a distributor that aligns with its ethos and business objectives, whilst offering sector specialisation.

The cooperation with Syndico follows Pocketalk’s earlier announcement this month that’s it’s partnered with Zebra Technologies, the market leader in hardware, software and automation solutions. Pocketalk’s Enterprise App can now be integrated across Zebra devices, signifying a major step forward in healthcare communication. This union highlights how Pocketalk is fast becoming the go-to solution supporting UK healthcareeducationemergency services, retail and enterprise professionals to overcome language barriers effectively.

Pocketalk has already helped many UK-based organisations to remove communication barriers, including Southampton-based primary care network Living Well Partnership (LWP). Having identified problems relating to cost and efficiency with outsourced telephone-based interpretation services, Pocketalk helped all eight of LWP’s GP surgeries – as well as their extended network of pharmacies – to improve community relations, increase patient trust and privacy, deliver more effective consultations, and save significant costs.

Pocketalk’s suite of handheld device, app and administrative software solutions offer secure, GDPR compliant, accurate and highly cost-effective alternatives to current outsourced translation and interpretation services, which are often costly, limited and not always readily available. The existing solutions also encounter many safeguarding problems, with our research showing 33% of healthcare workers use their personal phones and 43% use Google Translate to help, the use of which is unauthorised.

Translating 92 languages instantaneously, Pocketalk saves organisations time, money and stress, and this new partnership will give businesses a direct route to quick and easy purchase and implementation through Syndico.

Pocketalk’s Business Development Manager UK, Matt Steel, said:

“With an increased focus on improving language communication in all sectors in the UK, and ever more healthcare, emergency service and education settings reaching out for translation support, we knew it was time to engage a trusted, authorised reseller and Syndico is the perfect fit. We’re excited to work together to expand our presence in these sectors, helping those that are hindered by language barriers find a solution that saves time, money and stress, while offering a safe and trusted translation solution.”

Sam Ogles, Syndico’s Commercial and Marketing Development Manager, added:

“We’re really excited to be a Pocketalk Distributor and to welcome their products in our portfolio, and our reseller partners will be equally excited to have access to such an exciting brand. Syndico specialises in helping brands to bring their products to market via an extensive and skilled channel of resellers – especially brands which solve known pain points in key industries. We focus on products and solutions which boost efficiency, improve safety, save costs and improve decision-making – Pocketalk is a brand which ticks all those boxes.”
