Leading policy and procedure provider launches free resource for Adult Social Care in response to COVID-19.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, tri.x, part of The Antser Group, has launched the ‘Adult Social Care Resource – Coronavirus (COVID-19)’, a brand new, free online resource providing support and advice tailored and personalised to local authority Adult Services.

Combining expertise through training, consultancy and procedures, tri.x services aim to improve the lives of vulnerable children and adults and currently supports a range of social care markets including children’s services, adult services, local authority and independent children’s homes, fostering agencies, regional adoption agencies and safeguarding partnerships.

‘Adult Social Care Resource – Coronavirus (COVID-19)’, has been developed to support local authorities who do not currently use tri.x procedures, demonstrating tri.x’s commitment to support all practitioners and services at the current time. Available free of charge during the crisis, the resource will provide vital support during the pandemic.

Antser Group CEO, Richard Dooner, explained more: “The current pandemic has caused temporary changes affecting around 90% of the Care Act functions, so we felt it was crucial to not only ensure that the tri.x online resources were up to date and accurate, but also to enable free and easy access for those who need it at this critical time.

“We recognise the dedication and value of all those working in social care and on the frontline. The COVID-19 pandemic has meant that we are having to work differently and rely on virtual or remote services. More than ever, our tri.x service is vital to social care professionals to ensure they are fully aware and supported with all the ever-changing online policies and procedures.”

Included in the ‘Adult Social Care Resource – COVID19’, is the Mental Capacity Act 2005 Resource and Practice Toolkit (as recommended by the National Mental Capacity Forum), The Care Act 2014 (COVID-19 version), a range of core tri.x adult procedures (All COVID-19 ready), information and more.
