Best COVID-19 Solution for Mental Health – SilverCloud Health

When the COVID-19 crisis began, SilverCloud wanted to help as many people that could benefit from its digital mental health platform. As a values-driven organisation we made available free access to our platform to all NHS, social care and frontline care staff, plus their families. Working with central government agencies and local providers we provided additional free access to more than 20 million people across the UK and 180 million people globally. Additionally, we developed a specific programme to help with issues around COVID-19, including self-isolation, self-care and dealing with loss and bereavement – the only programme of its kind.

Best COVID-19 Telecommunications Solution – Alder Hey Children’s Hospital with InTouch

When the Coronavirus crisis hit, we saw telehealth as essential to implement part of the programme immediately, to support accurate, remote clinical decision-making. The Trust already had a relationship with InTouch Health and the Innovation and Digital teams and Alder Hey worked together to build telehealth solutions bespoke to the needs of the Trust and the other sites it works closely with. We have now implemented a variety of telehealth solutions in the Neonatal Department, High Dependency Unit and the Emergency Department including InTouch robots and bespoke devices for telehealth and virtual ward rounds.

Best COVID-19 Software Solution – Person Centred Software

Person Centred Software’s Mobile Care Monitoring is the most widely-used digital care system in the UK, and most widely-referred software provider within social care. Mobile Care Monitoring is the first fully mobile and easiest to use evidence of care system. Homes using the icon-driven system evidence over 50 care notes per resident per day, which isn’t possible on paper or other systems. The digital care system reduces time spent on paperwork with care interactions evidenced as they happen, achieving the company’s aim of giving staff more time to spend with residents, supporting regulatory compliance and improving quality of care.

Best COVID-19 Remote Monitoring Solution – The IOW NHS Trust Implementation of Telehealth and Attend Anywhere for Remote Monitoring and Consultations

Over the last few months the Isle of Wight NHS Trust’s TEC Team and Attend Anywhere project team, both based at St Mary’s Hospital, have worked hard to continue and expedite the implementation of both Telehealth and video consultations across the island, to support the continued care of patients and service users. Following the restrictions around patient contact during these unprecedented times, the significance of the use of remote monitoring in line with video consultations has been paramount, and the teams have worked hard to ensure a high level of patient care is sustained, despite restrictions around in-person appointments.

Best COVID-19 Training Solution – Lancashire Teaching Hospitals

The long term health impacts on patients will lead to chronic conditions impacting quality of life but also putting strain on health systems that lack the specialist kidney specialists and resources (such as dialysis).
